70th Chandler Rotary Track Meet

Coaches,

Please review the link to this year’s packet regarding the Chandler Rotary Track invitational, hosted by Chandler High School and the Chandler Rotary Service Club.  This year we are still trying to upgrade our meet and look to do it in the following areas.

• Athletes and Coaches:  This year wrist bands will be mailed out for every athlete and coach.  This will be there entry into the meet venue.  These will be mailed out the Monday prior to the meet.  We will no longer being using BIB numbers.

• Last year on Friday night, I believe that every athlete who was in attendance participated in the meet. We also had an unbelievable amount of open lanes. Please try to enter those you know will be in attendance.  I also will need to know if your team will attend Friday only, Saturday only, or both days.

• The Athlete Pass gate will be located on Erie Street, the west side of the stadium.  There will also be a pass gate off of Oakland Street for Friday. (See attached map)

• Hotels:  If you are in need of hotels there are quite a few in the Chandler area.  However, you should book as early as possible as March is the busiest season for Phoenix Hotels.  The two hotels that are host hotels for this years’ Rotary Track meet are the:  The Crowne Plaza of Chandler.  The Crowne Plaza is right located with in a half mile of the track.  The name of the contact there is Debbie Grady at 480-857-4443 – Direct.  Room rates are $99 for triple occupancy and $109 for quadruple occupancy.

The hotel will take School Purchase Orders.
